Chinese New Year

I flew in to Beijing, and then on the Shenyang on the eve of the Chinese New Year. From the plane I could see thousands of fireworks going off all over the city as we made our final decent in to land.



Imagine the good fireworks you see on Fourth of July, the big ones that go up and brust into different colors. Then imagine every business in your town setting them off all at once. Now also imagine every family setting off their stash of fireworks too. Every office building, every home, everyone. And there are 1.3 billion people in China.
